  • Dirk Jan de Vries, Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands

    Prof.dr. Dirk Jan de Vries studeerde bouwkunde en architectuurgeschiedenis en promoveerde in 1994 op Bouwen in de late middeleeuwen. Hij is als bouwhistoricus werkzaam bij de afdeling Gebouwd Erfgoed van de Rijksdienst voor het Cultureel Erfgoed Amersfoort. In 2005 initieerde hij een onderzoek naar de bouwgeschiedenis van de Roermondse Kartuis dat in 2009 wordt afgerond door drs. Birgit Dukers. Behalve de rijksdienst participeren hierin ook de Gemeente Roermond en het Bisdom Roermond.
